AHFE 2020

The 2020 International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics

The AHFE 2020 Virtual Conference was originally planned to take place in San Diego but was one of the first design related conferences required to cancel it’s physical gathering and move online as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The AHFE multi-conference is held annually and includes several affiliated conferences, jointly held under one management and one registration, covering a broad range of subjects including Design for Inclusion, Additive Manufacturing, Affective and Pleasurable Design, Artificial Intelligence, Assistive Technology, Cross-Cultural Decision Making, Game Design, Interdisciplinary Design Practice, Medical Devices, Transportation, Urban Planning, Usability & User Experience and Wearable Technologies.

The Inclusionaries Lab members Cara and Farnaz attended the virtual conference to present their latest research around initial insights from mapping half a century of inclusive paediatric mobility design.

Inclusionaries Lab director, Dr Farnaz Nickpour, sits on the Scientific Advisory Board for Design for Inclusion Conference, an affiliate conference of AHFE.
